On April 24th, 2024, I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Helena and Jordan’s wedding at the breathtaking The Pear tree in Purton. This stunning venue, nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, has been transformed into one of the region’s most romantic wedding locations. With its beautifully landscaped gardens and even its own vineyard, it provided the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration.
Bridal & Groom Prep – The Excitement Begins
The day started in the most picturesque way. Helena and her bridal party got ready in a stunning room overlooking the rear gardens, where we could see Jordan and his groomsmen enjoying some pre-wedding fun, playing ball games in the sunshine. The excitement and anticipation in the air were unmistakable.
Meanwhile, Jordan and his groomsmen got ready in the library at The Pear Tree—a fantastic space that always provides a wonderful setting to capture those candid moments of laughter, camaraderie, and, of course, the subtle signs of nerves creeping in for the groom.
A Heartfelt Ceremony
As guests took their seats for the ceremony, there was a buzz of excitement. Helena made her entrance, walked down the aisle by her sister, and Jordan’s reaction upon seeing his beautiful bride was truly priceless. The love and emotion in that moment were enough to bring a tear to anyone’s eye.
The ceremony itself was nothing short of beautiful, filled with touching vows, smiles, and the warmth of two families coming together.
Celebrations in the Gardens & a Stunning Reception
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests stepped into the gorgeous gardens, where they enjoyed drinks and delicious canapés in the sunshine. The relaxed atmosphere made for some fantastic candid shots, capturing genuine joy and celebration.
With group shots completed, everyone made their way into the stunning Orangery for the wedding breakfast. The space looked absolutely incredible, bathed in natural light and decorated to perfection. Then came the speeches—heartfelt, emotional, and deeply moving. As I listened, I could feel the hairs on my arms standing up—a true testament to the love in the room.
Dancing the Night Away!
As the evening drew in and the night fell, it was time for the real party to begin! With dancing shoes on, the guests celebrated in style, filling the dance floor with energy and joy. It was the perfect way to end such a magical day.
